I am not liberal, but I have serious issues with most fundys for the same reason your post bothers me.

You feel a perverse need to apologize for 2000+ years of Western Civilization….

You use socialist code words like “social justice,” ignoring that socialism killed more people in the last century than all the religious wars put together from the last twenty centuries

and, finally, you say that Jesus was a proto-socialist, or a radical reformer, or a wiccan, or a Buddhist, or a wise teacher, anything other than saying He was the Son of God
