In legalism and denominational-ism there is a trap we can get caught up in, what I call the “us four and no more syndrome” and what we can find ourselves thinking is that, our way is the only way. That is a major stumbling block to growth and depth and Paul warned against this very issue.

BigHouse #81 it is even worse than just a selected quote, it is an attribution similar to the Darwin Deathbed Conversion from Lady Hope. To quote either of these "attributions" is intellectually dishonest, especially if quoted without indication of the attribution. Typical of christians, they lie either directly or by omission. Here is the quote in full detail.

And from wikipedia we get

Prince Hubertus zu Loewenstein-Wertheim-Freudenberg (October 14, 1906 – November 28, 1984) was a German historian and political figure who was an early opponent of Adolf Hitler. He fled Germany and helped to promote anti Nazism in the United States. He was a former member of Parliament, and was the author of over 40 books. He was the head of the Free German Authors Association, and was decorated by Pope John XXIII for work toward reconciliation between the Roman Catholic and the Greek Orthodox church.

That puts a little different spin on the quote, reducing its value to zero. It is no wonder that christianity has apologetics, they have so much to apologise for.

What you are doing is called quote mining and appeal to authority. Fortunately for the sane among us, your efforts are so transparent as to be laughable.
