Just never worked for me :) Oh, I should clarify. It did work when I said something like this: “God if I open my eyes and see my reflection in this mirror, it’s a yes, if not, it’s a no!” He always said “yes” to me since I’m not a vampire :)

A new and better job, perhaps a bigger house, one even that went into the mission field because god had “pulled some strings”. For many of them, the door that was opened turned out to be an elevator shaft.

As the old parable goes, “we see neither the beginning nor the end, we no not whether it be a blessing or a curse.”
