Top 10 reasons why men should not be ordained for ministry

This is absolutely brilliant!

10. A man’s place is in the army.

9. The pastoral duties of men who have children might distract them from the responsibility of being a parent.

8. The physique of men indicates that they are more suited to such tasks as chopping down trees and wrestling mountain lions. It would be “unnatural” for them to do ministerial tasks.

7. Man was created before woman, obviously as a prototype. Thus, they represent an experiment rather than the crowning achievement of creation.

6. Men are too emotional to be priests or pastors. Their conduct at football and basketball games demonstrates this.

5. Some men are handsome, and this will distract women worshipers.

4. Pastors need to nurture their congregations. But this is not a traditional male role. Throughout history, women have been recognized as not only more skilled than men at nurturing, but also more fervently attracted to it. This makes them the obvious choice for ordination.

3. Men are prone to violence. No really masculine man wants to settle disputes except by fighting about them. Thus they would be poor role models as well as dangerously unstable in positions of leadership.

2. The New Testament tells us that Jesus was betrayed by a man. His lack of faith and ensuing punishment remind us of the subordinated position that all men should take.

1. Men can still be involved in church activities, even without being ordained. They can sweep sidewalks, repair the church roof, and perhaps even lead the song service on Father’s Day. By confining themselves to such traditional male roles, they can still be vitally important in the life of the church.

As there are some 30,000 different denominations of christianity all claiming to have the Truth, it can be concluded that all christian religions must be less than true. If it is a sin to tell a lie, being a spokesman for religion must then be a sin. Being a spokeswoman for religion then is also a sin, so to avoid sin stay away from religion. This works for non-christian religions also.

    Yay, a new post!

I have another one! How’s this?

    11. Ministers often are expected to wear fancy ceremonial robes, and these are too similar to dresses and are too “effeminate” for a “real man” to be seen wearing.

    Ubi,

So what is transvestites – they are none Christian. What kind of ape are they?

I tell you what they are: they are demon possessed – The Devil has got them confused.

Be True, not surprising that you are a bigot, after all you “read” the bible, that vile, disgusting. homophobic propaganda for controlling feeble minds. You are definitely suited for being controlled. What you are not suited for is life in a pluralistic, non judgmental society. A congenital condition is not under the control of the person so affected. Homosexuals do not choose their orientation, they were born that way. Do you really think that people would willingly choose a lifestyle that assholes like you would hound, sometimes kill them for?

I worked with someone who went through the transition from man to woman. I can’t even imagine the courage it took to come back to an office of over 300 people knowing that there were people like you among the 300. I gave her a hug instead of condemnation.

Religion has made you a disgusting, judgmental, blind to reason person. Is this what your imaginary friend jesus leads you to do? If so, don’t preach to me about accepting your jesus.

Thanks for showing us your true colors. Religion poisons everything. Crawl back under your rock, hypocrite.

This is one reason that atheists are angry at religion. Most of the time I’m a happy person but shit like you spew is so disgusting that I have no choice but to vent my anger. I have no hope that you will even recognize yourself in this, but I can see what you are.

Cag: ah! you so sweat, not!

Homosexuality is on the increase if you follow your evolution theory, you better adapt and change as it seems that nature want to reinvent itself and kill itself by stopping procreation.

Go apes Go! You should supporting it, why, because it is the devil in you that is cheering it on. By the way it is not just Christianity that oppose it. The fact that they have surgery done says it all.

I am going to leave you with this – remember you where warned.

Be True, I accept the warning to never be a bigot like you. You are the perfect antidote to the virus called religion. The ability of homosexuals to express their orientation instead of hiding it makes it appear as if there is an increase, but it is just better reporting. Personally, I am hetero, but I would never consider dumping on anyone who, as a consequence of congenital conditions is different from me. Take your hate to where it is appreciated, a religious site.

I love your site and your sense of humor. I recently came to my senses and stopped the madness known as faith in the invisible man. I am looking forward to visiting this site in the future. Take care!

The reason is typologic: women cannot be an image of the Father.

On the funny side, see this. :-)

Attention Christian Readers

Just in case you were wondering who we are and why we de-converted.

de-conversion wager

Whether or not you believe in God, you should live your life with love, kindness, compassion, mercy and tolerance while trying to make the world a better place. If there is no God, you have lost nothing and will have made a positive impact on those around you. If there is a benevolent God reviewing your life, you will be judged on your actions and not just on your ability to blindly believe in creeds- when there is a significant lack of evidence on how to define God or if he/she even exists.
